Dear Friends, Namaste and warm greetings from Nepal. We are very, very happy to announce that all our efforts have been successful and Nepal Government has announced heavy reductions on all the Mountaineering Peak Permit Fees for the permitted Himalayan peaks in Nepal WITH EFFECT FROM 16 JULY 2008. This is truly great news. It will benefit the people of Nepal by increasing tourism. Of course, it is also very encouraging news for ambitious and aspiring mountaineers and climbers of the world by increasing access to some of the greatest mountains in the world.
