Continues 7 Summits Club expedition to Island Peak. October 24 Group in full strength ascented to the summit of Kala Patar (5560 m). Some participants had never before reached this heights. Today, the group arrived at Island Peak base camp and preparing for the ascent. We wish them good luck!
Oct. 14. 7 Summit Club‘s expedition to Island Peak started. According to expedition leader Club’s guide Max Bogatyrev today all members of the expedition gathered at Namche Bazaar. Now they will have a difficult way to the base camp of Island Peak. I would like to recall that this is the second expedition of 7 Summits Club on the Island Peak in 2009. The first expedition took place in April. Our group was the first group on top of Island Peak in 2009.
